An exterior mural for Flour House cafe - North Street, Bristol
I was commissioned to create an uplifting mural for one of Bristol’s best cafes for his relocation to the bustling vibe of south Bristol’s North Street. Taking their key lilac brand colour, I built on that palette, bringing in a punchy yellow for the sunshine and adding in my tweaked version of their logo motif (with an additional smiley face). The phrase “Who Cares Wins” is a favourite of the cafe team and there is a nod to one of the staff’s drawings of a coffee cup character. Holding the composition together is a restful character, day-dreaming with elbows on a counter-top - much like the window counter-top of the cafe’s stunning new location. Client: Flour House
My thanks to fellow mural painter, David McMillan, for assisting me with the painting of this one.
