Musical stage mural. The Gallimaufry, Bristol
In 2021, Bristol bar, restaurant and music venue The Gallimaufry invited me to return and update the mural which I had originally painted when they first opened their doors in 2012.
It was a rare pleasure and a joy to reinterpret my cast of musical characters for 2021. See if you can spot the new band member. Plus, I was given the full sweep around the stage. I used a bright colour palette and introduced shapes and swirls that together help tie in with the myriad of shapes and vibrant rainbow of colours spread across the gorgeous ceiling installation by Maximillian Malone.
