An interior mural for a pottery space. The Community Pottery, Bricks - St. Anne’s House, Bristol

Inside Bricks (St Anne’s House) you can find a fully kitted out pottery: The Community Pottery. They invited me to create a mural of diverse characters embodying the joyous nature of working with clay, throwing on the wheel, trimming and glazing. I made use of their brand colour palette, which in itself reflects some of the natural colours found in clay and glazes. Their logo mark is included on one of the character’s apron. You can watch a short making-of video here, which takes you through the process from start to finish.

Dave produced the most wonderful creative response to our new space. The brief was to create a mural that represented as many types of people as possible, enjoying pottery. We think it does exactly that.
